Jozani Forest is the only inhabitant in the world where a rare species of RED COLOBUS MONKEYS available. Jozani Forest has become the last stronghold in the world for this particular type of colobus with different calls , eating habits and coat patterns. The island was formerly owned by an Arab used for confinement of refractory slaves. It was bought by General Mathews and the prison name which still exists was built in 1893. It was never actually used as a prison but rather as a quarantine hospital. The journey will start near the Old harbour by using a local speed boat in which you will see a beautiful sky view of Zanzibar Old Stone Town. After 30 minutes, guest will visit to the historic Prison Island with its giant land tortoise which lived more than 200 years. While on the island also you will be able to swim, sunbathe and snorkel deep to see coral reef and marine species.

Kizimkazi village is one of the earlier capital of the Island where traces of an Old Shirazi settlement. There is an ANCIENT MOSQUE where an inscription records that the mosque was built in the 12th century, A. H. 500 (A. D. 1107) by a Sheikh Seyyid Abi Amran, who appears to have been a local ruler. Out-side the mosque is a well and graves of Sheriffs (descendants of the Prophet). Kizimkazi one of its attraction is the home of Dolphin of several schools of bottle-nosed dolphins and Humpback dolphins, which are sighted following a short boat trip from the village. Mikumi National Park is the fourth largest wildlife national park in Tanzania, covering about 1,250 sq miles,and the most accessible by land transport, since the highway connecting Tanzania commercial and largest city (Dar es Salaam) and Iringa cut across the park.The park was gazetted as a National park in 1964 and now has been categorized as the major hotspot for the travel industry in the country.The landscapes in the Park can easily be compared to those of the Serengeti National Park as acacias, baobabs and tamarinds dot the savannah.It is famous for its healthy populations of elephants and buffaloes which can easily be spotted out on the plains. The tamarind trees are among the favourite spot for elephants and giraffes that spend a lot of time for eating their fruits. The park hosts different species of animals, Birds, reptiles and more class of Kingdom. Kilimanjaro National Park is located in Tanzania along the northern border shared with Kenya. It covers an area of 652 square miles (1,688 sq km) which includes the montane forest that surrounds Mount Kilimanjaro. Mount Kilimanjaro is one of the 7 Natural Wonders of Africa and a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Kilimanjaro National Park is home to Mount Kilimanjaro which is the tallest mountain in Africa and the tallest free-standing mountain in the world. It reaches a maximum height of 19,341 feet (5,895 m) at Uhuru Peak. Uhuru peak is part of the Kibo cone, which is one of three volcanic cones found on the mountain.

Mount Kilimanjaro and the surrounding national park area is unique compared to most national parks because almost all ecosystems are accounted for from the area between the base and summit. The summit provides for an arctic ecosystem with a trek up the mountain delivering visitors through cultivated land, rainforest, heath, moorland, and alpine desert.

Mount Kilimanjaro is the easiest climb of the Seven Summits; the “seven summits” include the tallest mountain from each of the seven continental regions. Accordingly, Mount Kilimanjaro is the most frequently climbed mountain as well. There are seven different official routes up the mountain. The Marangu route, which includes shared sleeping huts, is considered the easiest and the most common. Failure to acclimate to the altitude is the most common reason that people do not reach the summit. The youngest person to climb the mountain was 7 years old and the oldest was 89 years old.

Wildlife is not abundant in this area; however, elephants, leopards, and buffalo may be seen in the montane forest. These sightings are not something to anticipate with a climb up Mount Kilimanjaro. One of the fun wildlife sightings is the western black and white colobus monkeys as they jump from tree to tree.

This is the largest and oldest wildlife reserve area in Africa, covering about 50,000 square kilometers with lots of unique beautiful attraction. It’s located in southern part of Tanzania mainland. The reserve is the home of many wild animals including Elephants, East Africa wild dogs, Black Rhino, plains zebra, Cheetahs and Giraffes. The reserve also has an exceptionally high variety of habitats including Miombo woodlands, open grasslands, riverine forests and swamps, making it a valuable laboratory for ecological and biological processes. Moreover, there are boat safaris that allow you to approach birds and animals quite closer and view crocodile and hippo when you drift on the river Rufiji, the heart of Selous wildlife National Park. The reserve was declared by UNESCO as world heritage site in 1982 due to its wildlife diversity and undisturbed nature of the reserve. This untouched African wilderness can be easily accessible from Dar es Salaam and/or Zanzibar.
